Contact the clinic

Request a consultation

The first step is a short phone call, free of charge. We find out roughly what is going on and whether an assessment is likely to help. If it is not, we will say so on the phone rather than book you in.

What to expect

What happens when you get in touch

You will speak to someone at the clinic, not a call centre. Tell us what you have been struggling with and what you have already tried, and we will tell you whether an assessment with Dr Nabavi is likely to be worth your time.

If it is, we book it. If it is not, we say so, and where we can we point you towards someone more appropriate. You are not committing to anything by calling.

You do not need a referral from your GP. If you have been referred by a GP, psychiatrist or therapist, you stay under their care while you are treated here.

The clinic

Where to find us

The clinic is on Islington Row Middleway in Edgbaston, a few minutes from Birmingham city centre and easy to reach from across the Midlands.

People travel further for TPS, since there are currently only two centres in the UK. If you are coming a distance, say so when you call and we will try to group your appointments sensibly.

The nearest station is Five Ways, and there are local bus routes close by.

If you are driving, there are several multistorey car parks within walking distance. Parking on the side roads is limited to one hour at the moment, which is enough time for a session.

Appointment times are flexible and arranged around what you need, including at weekends.

Not sure what to ask?

Most people are not. You do not need to know which treatment you want, or to have worked out a diagnosis, or to have your history in order. Tell us what has been happening and what you have already tried, and we will take it from there.
